Boxing Shots
As you now know our concept is following a beer on his lead up to a fight so we have been planning to get several shots of him training. We came across this video on youtube with a combinations of boxing shots that we really like. We like the simplicity of the shots, which we would like to re-make for our video including slow motion. We believe this adds effect to the video for shots of his face so we can see the different emotions also when he his going to punch the 'punch bag' so we can get a feel for his dedication.

Mood Board
Here is our mood board giving explanations on our concept, including pictures to allow you to see what we are planning to do, hopefully.
Permission
Here is the email sent to Polydor Records asking for permission to use the song 'Save the World' for our A2 media project. It outlines the fact that it will not be sold on and is being used solely for education purposes, moreover stating any copyright issues.
Song choice including Lyrics
After struggling to find a song that would suit our concept, we have finally agreed to use 'Save the World' by Swedish House Mafia. It is perfect for us and our whole idea.
Into the streets, we're coming down
We never sleep, Never get tired
Through urban fields, and suburban life
Turn the crowd up now, We'll never back down
Shoot down a skyline, watch it in primetime
Turn up the love now, listen up now, turn up the love
Who's gonna save the world tonight?
Who's gonna bring you back to life?
We're gonna make it, you and I
We're gonna Save The World tonight
Ohoh oh oh, oh oh ohoh oh [x9]
We're far from home, it's for the better
What we dream, it's all that matters
We're on our way, united
Turn the crowd up now, We'll never back down
Shoot down a skyline, watch it in primetime
Turn up the love now, listen up now, turn up the love
Who's gonna save the world tonight?
Who's gonna bring you back to life?
We're gonna make it, you and I
We're gonna Save The World tonight
Ohoh oh oh, oh oh ohoh oh [repeated til end]

Further Changes
Choosing a song to create a music video to is proving more difficult then realised for our group. As you have seen we have explored several ideas and songs, taking several angles to the song. Our first option was Kate Nash - Foundations where we were to use a split screen and just follow the story of several people (probably using us to film). We then moved away from that idea, changing it to Together in an Electric Dream where we would take the 80s theme and go crazy with it, creating dance moves however as a whole we were not so keen on the idea as it could turn out quite cheesy and not how we expected. Furthermore we explored several other ideas including: Gossip - Heavy Cross which we looked into most detail coming up with a whole idea of a 'chase' where the boy was mesmerised over this girl so tried everywhere to find her whilst she was teasing her. One by one we went off the idea, not liking the concept as we felt it was too cliche. Moreover went on to look at Florence and the Machine - Shake it out, after becoming very unsuccessful in our ideas we all sat and discussed what to do with this song, wanting it to be final. We then conjured up an idea to do a modern take on a fairy tale, like little red ridding hood giving us an interesting narrative, all agreeing the audience would find the idea interesting but then we faced the difficulty of what would represent the wolf or the grandma without the video turning out horribly wrong. After loosing faith on that idea we all went out, cleared our head - stripped everything back to basics and began to story board again. It took a while but after much thinking we thought we would revert back to our initial idea. We are wanting to have fun so we have decided to take a more humorous take to a music video, jotting down several ideas of how we could create this idea. However, we now face the problem that the video will not turn out how expected, with people not finding the video funny. Also we have no narrative to the video, just a montage of humorous clips. All that is left to be done now is pick a song we all want, with a possible contender being Metro Station - Shake it.
